East Hardin Bands

All-District Band is only available to those students currently in the 7th and 8th grades.

Auditions for the KMEA Fourth District Middle School All-District Band will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Central Hardin High School.  Parents will be required to provide transportation to and from the auditions.  A more detailed schedule will be given to those students trying out in January.

Those students that are are selected for All-District Band will be attending rehearsals from 9:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29  and from 9:00 - 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 30.  The All-District concert will be held at Meade County High School at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30.  Bus transportation will be provided to and from Meade County High School on Friday.  Bus transportation will only be provided TO Meade County High School on Saturday.  PARENTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for transporting students home from Meade County after the concert on Saturday.

Starting in October, sign up sheets are posted for students who wish to get extra help on their audition music.  Mr. Baucum will post sign up sheets for each week on the Friday of the previous week.   Students that are auditioning are encouraged to sign up for help with Mr. Baucum at least once a week in order to prepare themselves fully for the audition.

I have placed the audition music below for you to download if you have lost yours or left it at school.  I have also placed the audio files for each instrument's audition music down below.  Please download these files and listen to them to help you learn your music.
